A collection of hill and mountain walks in England and Wales

The question that no-one in particular is asking – “does the world really need another walking-related website?” Well, it almost certainly doesn’t but that’s not going to stop me from having a go. On this site you’ll find my collection of hill, mountain and upland walks from various parts of England and Wales. The walks include a route map, a few choice comments and maybe the odd photo (some more odd than others). Click on a link or select an area from the menu at the top of the page.

A Note on Maps

The maps used on this site are derived from the Ordnance Survey Open Space site and can take a short while to load, particularly at peak times or with slow connections, so have a little patience. The mapping is based principally on 1:50,000 Landranger Maps.

The information contained in this website is intended as a general guide only and is not intended to be reproduced or copied in any way. Hill walking can be a risky undertaking, particularly in inclement weather. Make sure you are properly equipped and know how to use a map and compass when out on the hills.
